1. Exploring other institutions: when registering for your JAMB examinations, you are allowed the liberty to select 4 possible institutions of your choice. This means that you can decide to attend any of the 4 options if you so desire. When you register but miss your post UTME and the school doesn’t have any remedy, you can go for this second or third choice as you registered during JAMB. In that way, you won’t miss out on going to the higher institution entirely. However, make sure that you do not repeat the mistake of missing out a requirement by the school you subsequently apply to as this may close up the possibility of your gaining admission for that year.

Contact the Institution: it may be that you missed the examinations because of a cogent reason, whatever the case, you should contact the school administration to see if there is any possible remedy which may be opened to you.
