- The Umar Suleiman College of Education is a state government higher education institution located in Gashua, Yobe State, Nigeria.
- It is affiliated with the University of Maiduguri for its degree programs.
- The Umar Suleiman College of Education was established in 1986. It was formerly known as Advanced Teacher’s College, Gashua.
- The current Provost is Dr. Abdurahman Danladi.
- The College under her first Provost, Alhaji Ibrahim Gwio-Kura, occupied the site of Teachers College, Gashua along Nguru Road. It statrted with an initial intake of 64 candidates for Nigeria Certificate in Education, 24 for preliminary, Art and Science courses, 184 for Remedial Studies and 34 Senior Academic and administrative staff.
- On 28th October, 1986, the College was officially opened by the then Governor Lt. Col. Abdulmumini Aminu and 2 year later, it was renamed College of Education, Gashua.

USCOEGA Post UTME Screening exercise is meant for only candidates who meet the criteria below:
- Interested candidate must have sat for the 2024/2025 JAMB Examination.
- Must have score 100 and above.
- Must have Credit passes in Five (5) subjects including English and Mathematics.
- Candidate who did not chose the College can Do a Change of Institution to Edo State College of Education as first choice and upload SSCE result into the JAMB portal in any CBT Centre.
