UNIUYO Departmental Cut-Off Mark
UNIUYO departmental cut-off mark is usually different from their JAMB cut-off mark. The departmental cut-off mark is the final mark that will determine a candidate’s admission.
UNIUYO has not made its departmental merit/ELDS/Catchment cutoff mark for the 2024/2025 session public.
If we should judge with previous years, then we will be right to say the UNIUYO departmental cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 session will not be made public. But if they do make it public, we will update this page as soon as possible.
About University of Uyo (UNIUYO)
The University of Uyo, nestled in the vibrant city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, has a fascinating history. Originally known as the University of Cross River State, Uyo, it was elevated to federal status on October 1, 1991, marking its transformation into what we now know as the University of Uyo (UNIUYO).
The university’s journey is one of growth and evolution. It began as a Teacher’s College (TC), then became an Advanced Teacher’s College (ATC), before transitioning into a College of Education (COE). The institution later became an affiliate of the University of Port Harcourt, running degree programs under the name University of Cross River (UNICROSS). In 1991, it reached its current status as a federal university, opening its doors to students for the 1991/92 academic session.
Today, UNIUYO boasts 13 faculties, a Postgraduate School, and a School of Continuing Education, offering a wide array of programs. The university operates from four distinct campuses: the Main Campus, which houses central administration, the faculties of Engineering, Natural and Applied Sciences, and Agriculture, along with the International Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Research (ICEESR) and the Postgraduate School; the Town Campus, home to the faculties of Arts, Education, Social Sciences, and Pharmacy; the Annex Campus, where you’ll find Business Administration, Law, Environmental Studies, and General Studies; and the Ime Umana Campus in Ediene Abak, dedicated to Pre-Degree, JUPEB, and special courses.
Adding to its dynamic presence, UNIUYO runs a radio station, UNIUYO FM (100.7 MHz), which serves as a voice for the university and the local community. Guided by its motto, “Unity, Learning, and Service,” the institution thrives under the leadership of its current Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, with Adamu Maje, the Emir of Hadejia, serving as the Chancellor.
With 12 faculties and over eighty departments, the University of Uyo is not just an academic powerhouse but also a beacon of progress and innovation in Nigeria’s educational landscape.
