This is to inform you that the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT Post UTME Dates for the 2024/2025 Academic Session has been announced.

The exams will be held between 23rd September to 28th September 2024.

Facts About UNIPORT Post UTME Screening

  • The UNIPORT post-UTME screening will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT).
  • 50 objective questions to answer in 30 minutes
  • Unlike other Nigerian universities, Uniport displays your test results once you click the “Submit Your Answers” button. That is to say, you will get your Post UTME score once you finish the test.
  • Calculating the aggregate score:
    • UNIPORT utilizes a standard method for calculating aggregate cut-off marks.
    • The university employs a 50:50 formula, typical of most Federal Universities.
    • JAMB score contributes 50% of the total, while the remaining 50% is determined by the candidate’s post-UTME score.
    • Excelling in the post-UTME can significantly boost your aggregate score.
    • UNIPORT prioritizes post-UTME results over JAMB scores, aiming to assign more weight to the former.

  • Monday 23rd September, 2024: Anatomy/Physiology/Nursing/Dentistry/, Agriculture, SSLT, Allied & Health Science
  • Tuesday, 24th September, 2024: Humanities, Pharmacy, Comm. & Media Science
  • Wednesday, 25th September, 2024: Management Science, Law
  • Thursday, 26th September, 2024: Engineering, Education
  • Friday, 27th 2024: Socal Science, Science, Computing
  • Saturday, 28th September, 2024: Medicine and Surgery

UNIPORT Post Utme Instructions

  • Candidates are required to come with the following:
    • A clear copy of the Photo Card (Reprinted a day before the examination) and pen.
    • A photocopy of O’Level Examination Certificate(s) (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB) and
    • Birth Certificate or Affidavit of Age Declaration.
  • Inconsistency in name or picture on Registration Slip could result in disqualification.
  • Names on O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and registration documents must match.
  • Candidates must be 16 or older by October 2024 to participate.
  • Prohibited items like mobile phones are not allowed at the screening venue.
  • Apply within the Registration Period; the online link will close after.
  • Registration is solely online; physical presence on campus is unnecessary.
  • Second-choice candidates can apply only after changing to the University of Port Harcourt as their First Choice.
  • O’Level results must be uploaded to JAMB website promptly.
  • Use valid telephone numbers and email addresses for registration.
  • Attendance at Screening Venues is mandatory as per scheduled time on Photo Card.
  • Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents are not permitted on campus during the screening
