This is to inform you that the Nigerian Police Academy Wudil, POLAC Post UTME Dates for the 2024/2025 Academic Session has been announced

The management of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, has announced that the comprehensive screening exercise for applicants of the 12th Regular Course will commence on October 6, 2025.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Barr. Dr. Ekpere Fidelis Ezeugwu, the screening will involve a Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination, physical features screening, medical screening, and a selection board interview.

The exercise will be conducted in batches, starting with candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A) on October 6, and concluding with Yobe (Batch B) and Zamfara States on October 15, 2025.

Documents Required

Candidates are expected to present both originals and photocopies of the following documents during the screening:

• Primary School Leaving Certificate
• SSCE Results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• JAMB Result Slip
• Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
• L.G.A Indigene Certificate
• Letter of Identification
• Guarantor’s Form (properly filled and signed)
• Medical Certificate of Fitness (from a Government Hospital)
• National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
• Four passport photographs
• Application Acknowledgment Slip (printed from the Polac Portal)

The Academy instructed all candidates to appear in white T-shirts on white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.

Important Notice

The statement emphasized that candidates must attend only on the dates scheduled for their states of origin and warned against falling for fake social media accounts impersonating the Police Academy.

POLAC Post Utme Instructions

• Proceed to your respective states of origin and appear at your assigned screening venues or centres.
• Wear clean white T-shirts and shorts.
• Bring the following mandatory screening requirements, neatly arranged in two flat files with recent passport photographs attached:
  • Evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government-recognized hospital
  • Evidence of good character from your village/district head
  • Indigene certificate signed by your local government chairman or secretary
  • National Identity Number (NIN) slip
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials:
    • O’level results
    • Certificate of origin
    • Birth certificate/Age declaration
    • JAMB result printout slip
  • Printout of application form
  • Duly completed guarantor’s form
  • Invitation slip
• Applicants are advised to visit www.polca.edu.ng to log in with their USERNAME and PASSWORD (CANDIDATE’S NAME, JAMB NUMBER, and NIN NUMBER) to print out their invitation letter.
• Pay attention to the details and specific guidelines stated for the screening exercise.
• The Commandant, AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, PSC (+) mni, has assured that the statutory requirements as stated in the Police Act and Regulations will be followed to ensure transparency, accountability, and fair hearing.
• All applicants shortlisted will be allowed to participate, and their suitability will be recommended using established benchmarks in the Act.
• The Commandant reiterated that the automated physical screening exercise is free of charge.
• Applicants should be wary of criminal elements who might try to scam them during this exercise.
• Anyone found attempting to scam applicants will face the full wrath of the law.
