MOUAU Departmental Cut-Off Mark

MOUAU departmental cut-off mark is usually different from their JAMB cut-off mark. The departmental cut-off mark is the final mark that will determine a candidate’s admission.

MOUAU has not made its departmental merit/ELDS/Catchment cutoff mark for the 2024/2025 session public.

If we should judge with previous years, then we will be right to say the MOUAU departmental cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 session will likely not be made public. But if they do make it public, we will update this page as soon as possible.

About Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU)

The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, located in Umudike, Abia State, Nigeria, has a fascinating history that dates back to its establishment as the Federal University of Agriculture in November 1992.

This specialized institution was born from the vision of the Federal Government of Nigeria to advance agricultural education and research. Formal operations kicked off in May 1993, with the appointment of Professor Placid C. Njoku as the first Vice-Chancellor, leading the way for the university’s development.

The first cohort of students, just 82 in number, began their academic journey during the 1993/94 session, marking the humble beginnings of what would become a significant educational institution.

Affectionately known as “Umudykes” or “U’dykers,” students, alumni, and even the sports teams carry this nickname with pride. Under the current leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, the university is poised to embrace new initiatives like commercial farming, which not only boosts internal revenue but also equips students with practical skills for navigating a complex future.

Today, Michael Okpara University boasts eleven colleges and a School of General Studies, housing fifty-seven departments that cover a wide range of academic disciplines.

The institution’s library, established in 1994, plays a crucial role in supporting the academic endeavors of both students and faculty, providing resources for teaching, research, and community service.

Guided by the motto “Knowledge, Food, and Security,” the university continues to grow under the chancellorship of His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III.

The university’s dedication to these core values reflects its commitment to not just education, but also to the broader goals of ensuring food security and contributing to the well-being of society at large.
