Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic (HUKP) is a state polytechnic in Katsina, Katsina is located some 260 kilometers (160mil) east of the city of Sokoto and 135 kilometers’ (84mil) northwest of Kano, close to the border with Niger.
Hassan Usman Katsina was established by “The Katsina Polytechnic law” which came into operation on 1st January 1983. This Law abrogated the North Central College of Art, Science, and Technology law of 1975 and effectively created the Polytechnic as a legal entity out of the defunct KCAST.
This Law was subsequently amended by the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic(Amendment) Law of 2003.
Their motto is “Success through labour”

Candidates Eligible to Buy HUKPOLY Post UTME Screening Form

HUKPOLY Post UTME Screening exercise is meant for only candidates who meet the criteria below:

Higher National Diploma Transcripts:

NB: Candidates applying for Higher National Diploma should notify their former Institutions to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Academic Secretary.

UTME Requirement for ND/NCE Technical Programs:
Interested candidates for National Diploma (ND) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) Technical Programmes must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 120 points in the 2022 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

O’Level Requirements: In addition, candidates must have obtained credit passes in five (5) subjects relevant to the program, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

Alternative Qualification: OR Five credit passes (including English and Mathematics) in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized Preliminary ND/Pre-NCE Technical Program offered in the Polytechnic or a similar Post-Secondary Technical Institution.

Note that the cut off JAMB score for the following programmes is 120 viz:

ND Science Lab. Technology,
ND Architectural Technology,
ND Civil Engineering,
ND Nutrition and Dietetics,
ND Computer Science,
ND Public Administration,
ND Business Administration & Management and
ND Mass Communication.

An account will be created for you, using your provided email address and password
Application Transaction ID will be generated instantly
Make payment to any of the approved banks using your Transaction ID, and collect your PIN from the bank
