Some Fun Facts About FUDMA

• The Federal University, Dutsin-ma is located in Dutsin-ma Local government Area of Katsina State, which is located in the North-Western region of Nigeria, bordering Niger Republic, Kaduna, Kano and Jigawa States.
• On 7th February, 2011, in his capacity as Visitor to Federal Universities, the President and Commander in Chief, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, appointed Prof. James O.I. Ayatse and Mal. Muhammad Yusuf Abubakar as Vice Chancellor and Registrar, respectively.
• The Vice Chancellor and Registrar officially assumed office on 10th March, 2011.
• The Vice Chancellor subsequently appointed Mr Sadiq Momoh Jimoh and Mallam Misbahu Naiya as the Deputy Bursar and Deputy Librarian, respectively.
• The university fully started her academic activities and other curricular activities by 2012.
• The current Vice Chancellor of FUDMA is Bichi Armayau Hamisu, who is the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the University.
• The Federal University Dutsin-ma main objective is to encourage the advancement of learning and to hold out to all persons without distinction of race, creed, sex or political conviction and the opportunity of acquiring higher and liberal education.
• The pioneer students were about 219 in number spread across three different faculties: Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Arts and Management Studies, and Faculty of Science and Science Education.
• Currently, there are 1754 students consisting of 1255 males and 499 females registered in the 21 Departments of the three Faculties.
• The library was established in 2012 to support teaching, learning and research of both students and staff of the university and it is located at the main Library.
• Its academic affiliation is National University Commission (NUC).
• The striking features in the logo of the Federal University, Dutsin-ma are: some rocks, (indicating the location of the institution); a wheel (indicating technology) and a calf (indicating agriculture). Also included in the logo is a fine blend of carefully selected colors (green, gold, black and white) to signify the focus and integrity of the university.
• The university motto is ” Integrity and Service”.
• Black: This color symbolizes power and elegance. It points to the desire to build an elegant institution with a strong institutional management system and efficient management structure.
• Gold: This color symbolizes wealth, wisdom, prestige, illumination and high quality. It indicates the dream to build a prestigious, high quality university that does not only illuminate and impacts wisdom, but lead its stakeholders to wealth creation.
• Green: This colour symbolises nature, fertility, growth and agriculture. It indicates the desire of the university to harness the natural provisions within its location, its competitive advantage-land, water and forest resources to promote agriculture and agricultural technology and evolve as a centre of excellence in value addition in agriculture.
• White: this colour stands for light, integrity, perfection, successful beginning, and depicts faith. It captures the desire to grow an institution strong on integrity values, which is a source of light in an increasingly decadent society, and produce graduates that have the faith and confidence to serve with integrity.

How Much is FUDMA Post UTME Form

The cost of the post utme form is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000).

Candidates Eligible to Buy FUDMA Post UTME Screening Form

To qualify for the screening, candidates meet the following criteria:

• Must have selected FUDMA as their preferred institution during the 2024/2025 JAMB Examination.
• Attained a minimum score of 150 for courses such as: accounting, economics and development studies, political science, sociology, biochemistry and molecular biology microbiology, library and information science.
• For those aspiring to be part of the faculties of Engineering and Faculty of Computing, a minimum score of 160 in the UTME is required.
• For those aspiring to be part of the faculties of Health Sciences, a minimum score of 180 in the UTME is required.

Cut Off Mark

Cut-off mark is 140 and above. Depending on the course.

How to Apply for FUDMA Post UTME Form

1. Visit https://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions.
2. Read the instruction carefully.
3. Ensure that your personal and academic data are appropriately filled in the columns available.
4. Input a correct and active email in your personal data column.
5. Click on ‘save’ to submit your data for further processing.
6. Proceed to the payment column for processing of the payment charges.
7. After making the payment, print the payment confirmation slip.
8. The date and Time for your Screening will be indicated on the acknowledgment slip.
