Some Fun Facts About ESUT

• The University was founded as a non-residential multi-campus institution, modeled after Harvard University, with its main campus in Enugu and additional campuses in Abakaliki, Awka, and Nnewi.
• Initially, only three faculties were established: Engineering, Science, and Technology, located at the Enugu and Awka campuses.
• In 1985, significant reorganizations and policy changes led to the introduction of new programs and the merger with the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT). This resulted in the creation of several new faculties.
• The merged institutions operated under one Interim Joint Council until December 1986 when they were demerged.
• By 1987, all four campuses were operational, each housing different faculties and led by a Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
• In 1991, following the creation of Enugu State, the university’s name changed from ASUTECH to ESUT, retaining all former identities.
• ESUT established a new campus in Adada Nkpologwu, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, housing students of Applied Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.
• The creation of Ebonyi State in 1996 led to ESUT forfeiting its Abakaliki campus, which became Ebonyi State University (EBSU).
• ESUT relocated its College of Health Sciences to Parklane Enugu in 2005.
• On February 14, 2006, the university was moved from its temporary site in Independence Layout Enugu to a permanent structure in Nkanu West L.G.A., named Ebeano City.

Candidates Eligible to Buy CUSTECH Post UTME Screening Form

• Only applicants with current UTME results will be considered.
• Candidates must achieve the approved national minimum score for the 2024/2025 UTME university admissions.
• Candidates need to have taken the correct UTME subject combinations as outlined in the JAMB Brochure for their desired courses/programs.
• All applicants must have a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in subjects relevant to their chosen courses/programs, within a maximum of two sittings.

How to Apply for ESUT Post UTME Form

• Visit the official school portal
• Go to the “Regular Students”.
• Select “2024/2025 Admission Screening Registration.“
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number and proceed.
• Fill in the required details to generate your invoice.
• Payment Options:
  • Bank Branch: Print your invoice with the reference number and pay N2,000 via Enugu State IGR pay-direct at any commercial bank.
  • Debit Card: Make an online payment using your card.
• Return to the application page and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Complete the form.
• Review all your entries.
• Submit your application.
• Print out your acknowledgment slip.
• NOTE:
  • Consistency is key. Ensure that the name on your O’ Level certificates, UTME results, and all other documents are uniform. Any discrepancy can lead to disqualification.
  • It’s imperative to provide accurate information during the application. If any information is false, it might result in disqualification.
